World No Tobacco Day was observed by the District Health & Family Welfare Services Department, Dakshina Kannada on 31st May 2018 at RAPCC, Mangaluru. The Program was inaugurated by Dr.M.R Ravi, CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Dakshina Kannada. Mr Mallanagouda Patil,Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, presided over the function. Dr. Sathish Kumar Bhandary,Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University), was the chief guest and launched CFTFK the Tobacco Control App during the event. Dr. Jagannath P Assistant Professor & Head (i/c) Department of Public Health, delivered a talk on "Tobacco & Heart Disease" which was the theme this year.
