The NSS unit in association with the Rovers Wing organized the Teacher’s Day celebration on 05-09-2018 at Tapovana, Thokur to pay tribute to the teachers for their valuable contribution to society.
Smt. Chandravathi, Retd. Headmistress, Govt. Primary School, Aikala was the Chief guest. In her speech, she appreciated the teachers for their sincere service and contribution to the nation . She advised them to come to class with sufficient preparation, identify the creativity in students and inspire them to make the best use of their talent. She also called on the students to respect their parents, teachers and the nation and to become responsible citizens of the country. The chief guest paid a floral tribute to the portrait of Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Smt. Chandravathi was felicitated for her dynamism and contribution to the all round development of schools and students, during her long outstanding 32 years of service.
Principal, Sri Y.N.Salian presided over the Teacher`s Day function. Mr. Raghuram Rao, Placement Officer; Mr. Laxmikanth, Training Officer; Mr. Udaya Kumar, Office Supdt. ; Mr. Hari H, JTO; Mr. Suresh S. JTO were present on the occasion.
Mr. Vishwanath, JTO and Mr. Raghavendra Adiga, JTO spoke on behalf of the teachers at the function. The students, Kum. Sowmyashree, COPA; Mr. Ashik, MRAC and Mr. Winston Royal Moras, E.M. reminisced Dr. S Radhakrishnan‘s thoughts and achievements.
The program was conducted by the students and was highly appreciated by the Principal. Various fun activities for the teachers were organized. Mr. Sharan Acharya of EM invoked the blessings of the Almighty. Mr. Prajwal of Fitter trade welcomed the gathering. Mr. Karthik, EM trade delivered the Vote of thanks. Mr.Shivananda, EM trade was the MC for the program.
