Karunya, NIPT celebrated the World Physiotherapy Day on 10th September, 2018 at Balasamrakshana Kendra, Kutharpadavu, Mangalore.
Principal, Dr Dhanesh Kumar KU welcomed the gathering. Dr. Satheesh Rao, Head, Dept. of Psychiatry presided over the function. Dr. Anantha Krishna Bhat, Convenor, Balasamrakshana Kendra, Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Alka Kulkarni, Registrar of Nitte University also addressed the gathering. Mr. Subhashchandra Rai, Asst. Professor, NIPT delivered the Vote of thanks. Daily needs kit and school stationery kits were distributed to all the inmates of the Ashram. An awareness talk on correct way of carrying school-backpack and posture, was conducted by Ms. Priyanka Nayak, Asst. Professor, NIPT. This was followed by a physical fitness assessment of all the inmates of Balasamrakshana Kendra.
