“World Food Safety Day” at NUCSER

The first-ever World Food Safety Day, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2018, under the theme "Food Safety, Everyone's business" was celebrated at NUCSER on 7th June 2019.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr). Iddya Karunasagar, Sr. Director (International Relations), Nitte (DU), addressed the gathering of faculty & students and briefed about the adoption of World Food Safety Day by the United Nations. He highlighted the importance of food safety for the health and well-being of our nation and people.
