The Department of Microbiology conducted a CME on “Untangling Laboratory Reports – A doorway to Judgement & Conclusion” on 3rd August 2019. The CME was supported by Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.
Dr Sukanya Shetty, Prof & Head, Dept of Biochemistry and Co-ordinator, IQAC, inaugurated the CME. Resource persons, Dr Suchitra Shenoy and Dr Debkishore Gupta spoke on the interpretation of laboratory reports. Dr Pratibha Bhat U spoke on the importance of proper sample collection. Delegates included postgraduates from clinical departments. As a token of appreciation, saplings were gifted to resource persons.
