The Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering, NMAMIT, Nitte organized the inaugural function of a Centre of Excellence sponsored by Texas Instruments under University Program in association with STEPS Knowledge Services Pvt. Ltd who are the academic partners of Texas Instruments, on 16th August 2019.
Mr. V. S. Ramesh, Director, STEPS Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd, India was the Chief Guest of the event. He highlighted the university program of Texas Instruments and the association of STEPS Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd in the same. He also encouraged the students to register for the India Innovation Challenge Design Content 2019.
The Principal, Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, in his presidential remarks encouraged the faculty and students to utilize this opportunity and also mentioned the importance of interdisciplinary projects in the modern era. Dr. Rekha Bhandarkar, HoD, E&C gave an insight into the process involved in the setting up of the Center of Excellence. She acknowledged the support of the Management, Principal, Dr. Parameswaran, Director, Industry Institute Collaboration and Heads of Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Information Science & Engineering. Mrs. Sunitha Lasrado, Asst. Professor, E&C was the master of ceremony. Mr. Durgaprasad, Assoc. Professor, E&C introduced the Chief Guest. Ms. Apoorva Kamath rendered the Invocation. Faculty and students across various departments of the institute attended the event.
