The NSS unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a NSS special camp at Govt. High school, Pavoor from 09-10-2019 to 15-10-2019. The camp was inaugurated on 11-10-2019 at 10.30 am by Dr. Prof. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University). He highlighted the importance of organizing Special camps and the role and activity of NSS Volunteers.
Sri. Mohammed Monu, President - Taluk Panchayat and SDMC was the chief guest. He advised the students to actively engage in social service activities organized by the NSS unit of the college. Prof. Dr. Fatima D’Silva, Principal thanked the community leaders for the support rendered to the volunteers. Sri. Firoz Malar, President Pavoor Gram Panchayat, Prof. Sabitha Nayak Vice principal, NUINS, Dr. Usha N Headmistress Govt. High school Pavoor, Mr. Husain Ward member Pavoor, Mrs. Cleeta Pinto and Mrs Suchithra BS, NSS Programme officers of NUINS were present. Fifty NSS volunteers and two teachers participated in the program.
