The NSS unit of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in assistance with the Blood Bank of Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital organized a blood donation camp on 7th February 2020 in the Seminar hall of the college. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. C.S. Shastry, Principal and Dr. R. Narayana Charyulu, Vice Principal. In his welcome address, the Principal explained the importance of blood donation in saving lives and explained the process of storage of donated blood in blood bank. He motivated students to come forward to donate blood and lauded the NSS team for organizing such events to instill humanitarian values in students. A total of 40 students donated blood. Dr. Santanu Saha proposed the vote of thanks. Certificate of appreciation was given to donors as a token of gratitude.
