The Gender Sensitization Cell of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized an Awareness program on ‘Gender Equality’ as part of the International Women’s Day Celebration at NIPT on 9th March 2020.
Mrs. Suchetha P.S, Coordinator, Gender Sensitization Cell, NIPT delivered a talk on ‘Gender Equality’ to sensitize the students and staff on the issue of generation equality and understanding women’s rights. She emphasized on adopting 12 simple actions with big impact for generation equality.
Drawing and poetry competitions were conducted as part of the sensitization program for the students.
Ms. Shellette D’Almeida, Asst. Professor, NIPT and Ms. Jumana Bhagat, General Secretary, Students’ Council coordinated the event under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K.U. Principal, NIPT.
