Dr. Sandhya Ravi, Principal, Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design was conferred with the “Nehru Women Excellence Award 2020” on 8th March 2020 by the UGC approved Nehru Center for Women Excellence, in the category `Top in the Class.
There were 350 nominees for the award across the country who were selected based on several parameters. The shortlisted candidates were later skype interviewed by the selection panel. The award was presented to Dr. Sandhya Ravi by Honorable Justice Dr. S. Vimala, Former Judge of Madras High Court, Chennai; Mr. S. P. Anbarasan, Founder & Managing Trustee, Nallaram Trust, Coimbatore; Ms. Swarnalatha J, Founder & Managing Trustee, Swarga Foundation, Coimbatore; Dr. P. Krishnakumar, CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions.
