The All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi has sanctioned Rs.11.11 lakhs to NMAMIT, Nitte for establishment of a ‘Centre for Environment Monitoring’ under the scheme of MODROB-Rural within a period of two years. The Centre will be helpful in providing live projects to students and also technical data to industries. The first instalment of the grant (80%) has been received.
Principal, Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar informed that all programs offered by the Centre will be coordinated by Dr. Shashikanth Karinka, Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, NMAMIT.
This is the third grant received from AICTE within a span of one month.
