News from KSHEMA | Department of Medical Imaging Technology, KSHEMA National Level E-poster Competition

The Department of Medical Imaging Technology, K S Hegde Medical Academy in association with the Indian Society of Radiographers & Technologists (ISRT), Mangalore Academic Club organized a 3-day National Level E-Poster Competition from 24th to 26th June 2020.

The competition was kept open to Medical Imaging Technology students. Participants could choose from 3 given topics. 5 best e-posters selected from each topic was to be presented before the panel comprising of national & international experts. The selected 5 finalists were given 5 minutes to present and 4 minutes for discussion with the panelists, which was live streamed on YouTube.

132 e-posters were received from 46 colleges across India. The e-poster presentation live streaming session had 2612 registrations. Two subject experts were also present to answer the questions posed by the participants in the live-streaming session.

The 3-day event concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Selvakumar, President, ISRT. The competition was organized by Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, Asst. Professor, KSHEMA on Google Meet. The event was well received and appreciated by students and faculty members.
