A hands-on scientific workshop titled ‘Sensory Integration Approach in Sensory Processing Disorders’ was organized by Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, on 24th March 2022 in association with Mangalore Physiocon 2022 at KS Hegde Auditorium, Deralakatte, Mangalore.

Prof (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar K U, Principal, NIPT welcomed the gathering. Prof Sai Kumar N, Senate Member, RGUHS and Prof (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU addressed the gathering.

The resource person, Dr Rakesh Krishna Kovela, Professor & Dean (Academics), Ravi Nair Physiotherapy College, elaborated on the innovative techniques in Sensory Integration along with a hands-on practice of the same.

A book titled ‘Fundamentals of Cardiorespiratory Investigations and Musculoskeletal Examinations for Physiotherapists: - A Guide to Clinical Practice’ authored by Vivek Vijayan Menon, Assistant Professor, NIPT, was released by the Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU. 

45 delegates from various physiotherapy colleges in Karnataka participated in the event.
