News from NIPT | Cultural fest – Lasya 2022

Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organised the Cultural Fest ‘LASYA 2022’ on 2nd April 2022 at K.S. Hegde Auditorium, Deralakatte. The formal function commenced at 9:30 am, followed by a welcome address delivered by Prof. (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal, NIPT. The Chief Guest was Ms. Radhika Shetty, Bharatanatyam dancer, Founder & Director, Nrityaangana.

The Guest of Honour was Col. B S Ghivari, Assistant Director (Student Affairs), Nitte DU. Both the dignitaries emphasized the importance of arts and culture in life and their role in moulding one's personality. The formal function concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rashmitha A P, Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Cultural Committee. The program was compered by Aishwarya Nair, Assistant Professor.

Faculty from different departments were invited to judge the vibrant showcase of talent in the form of dance, singing, drama and a fashion show. The day was buzzing with energy and all the students actively participated in all the activities.
