News from NUCSER | Annual Day 2022 Celebration

After a gap of two years due to the COIVD19 pandemic, the 5th Annual Day of NUCSER was held on 12th July 2022 at KS Hegde Auditorium. Mrs. Sadhana Deshmukh, Director, Staff Development Centre, Nitte(DU) was the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Iddya Karunasagar, Advisor, Research & Patents, Nitte(DU) was the Guest of Honour. In her speech, the chief guest appreciated the participation of students in co-curricular activities and encouraged them to nurture their knowledge, concepts and human skills for a successful professional life.

Prof. Dr. Iddya Karunasagar commended the institute for the achievements and wished NUCSER to reach greater heights.  Prof. Dr. Smitha Hegde welcomed the gathering.

Dr Ramya Harsha, the Institutional IQAC officer presented the annual report for the year 2021-22 and highlighted the achievements of the staff and students. On this occasion, the esteemed guests released the college magazine ANVESHAN, 2022. Dr. Juliet Mohan Raj, the faculty editor of the magazine highlighted the features and contributions by the faculty and students in the annual magazine. Prof. Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER presided over the function and congratulated the Student Welfare Committee and the Student Council for their superlative efforts in the conduct of the activities during the year.  

As a part of the formal function, students with academic excellence and exemplary sports achievements were felicitated with medals and certificates. Prizes were also given to the winners of the cultural fest Goonj 2022. As a gesture of gratitude, the janitors and the gardener of the institute were felicitated. Mr. Shaikh Faiz Hanif, President, Student Council proposed the vote of thanks. 

The formal function was followed by the cultural extravaganza where students, Ph.D scholars, teaching and non-teaching faculty of NUCSER put in show a galaxy of events that truly showcased the immense talent that NUCSER has ! Overall, it was a memorable evening for all.
