The NSS unit of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2022, to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary.
Principal Dr. C S Shastry explained the significance of the day by stating that Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) provides an opportunity for people to reaffirm their sense of integrity and national unity. He added that Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is particularly significant since it is celebrated to reaffirm the successful and complete integration of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with India. He administered the Rashtriya Ekta pledge following the initial briefing.
Dr. Santanu Saha, NSS Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. The students, NSS volunteers, members of the teaching and non-teaching staff enthusiastically attended the program.
