Ms. Saifa, Intern, KSHEMA under the guidance of Dr. Meera, Jr. Resident, Dept. of Community Medicine and Mr. Santhosh, Medical Social Worker educated the inpatients of the Medicine Unit about Alzheimer’s disease through a poster presentation. She explained the early symptoms, risk factors, treatment, prevention and the need for extra support for patients with Alzheimer’s in Malayalam which was also translated to Kannada by Mr. Santosh, for the benefit of the audience.
This was followed by a Q&A session where all doubts were clarified.
