The Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA organized a visit to Vathsalyadhama Abhayashrama, on 28th February 2023.
A health check-up for the 25 residents at Dr Giridhar Rao Sanjeevi Bai Vridhashrama was conducted by the Interns Dr Pradnya, Dr Sujay, Dr Stephie and Medical Social worker Santhosh N P under the guidance of Dr Raksha, Medical Officer at Kadri UHTC.
Blood Pressure and GRBS was checked and they were educated on lifestyle modifications, diet, signs and symptoms of hypertension and diabetes. Doubts and concerns were clarified and they were provided with the necessary medication.
