The Nursing Education Unit (NEU) along with NAAC Criterion III Committee of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a workshop on Research & Innovation on 3rd March 2023 at NUINS Learning Centre. The workshop began with a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr) Jacintha Veigas, Program Coordinator & Coordinator of NEU.
Dr. Nalini M, in-charge of NAAC Criterion III, introduced the resource person Dr. Ankeeta Menona Jacob, Assoc. Professor, K S Hegde Medical Academy. Dr. Ankeeta enumerated the concepts & methods of Sampling, Research Designs and Reference Writing. The various scenarios were discussed and the participants were taught the appropriate use of sampling methods. The participants were also provided hands-on training on Reference Writing.
7 faculty members and 31 students attended the workshop.
