The Alumni Relations Cell of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized an online webinar on “Understanding Pusher’s Syndrome and its Management” on 20th January 2024 with Dr. Aafiya Nahvi, Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir and NIPT Alumna 2015 MPT batch, as the resource person.
Mr. Rakesh Krishna Kovela, Coordinator, Alumni Relations Cell, NIPT welcomed the gathering. Dr. Mallikarjunaiah H S, Principal Acharya Institute of Physiotherapy, Bangalore (Alumnus 2013 batch PhD) & President, Alumni Relations Cell, NIPT spoke about the alumni activities conducted and congratulated NIPT for coming up with the webinar series.
Dr. Saumya Srivastava, Associate Professor, NIPT introduced the speaker and moderated the session. Dr. Aafiya spoke extensively about the causes, presentation and pathophysiology of Pusher’s Syndrome and emphasized the physiotherapeutic assessment and management along with recent advances. All the students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
