A kidney health awareness program was organised on 28th March 2024 at Ira Rural Health and Training Centre, Parappu site by the Dept. of Community Medicine, K S Hegde Medical Academy. Local families were educated through door-to-door interactions about the signs and symptoms of various kidney problems, including kidney stones, diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive nephropathy. Preventive measures were also discussed to promote kidney health and encourage early detection.
