Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organised a Workshop on “Entrepreneurship in Physiotherapy” with Mr. Akshay Agarwal, Founder Director of Training Gurukul, New Delhi as the Resource Person at K S Hegde Auditorium on 27th March 2024.
Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K U, welcomed the gathering. Dr. G Sriniketan, Guest of Honour explained the importance of entrepreneurship in physiotherapy, the various activities conducted by IIC, Nitte DU along with the various funding opportunities that are available to students. Mr. Prasanna Kailaje, Director, Alumni Relations congratulated NIPT for conducting this kind of workshop to enhance the knowledge and understanding ability of students about entrepreneurship in physiotherapy. Mr. Rakesh Krishna delivered the vote of thanks.
The sessions were brilliantly executed by Mr. Akshay Agarwal wherein he discussed the various market strategies and put the young minds to work through role plays, video demonstrations, group activities thoroughly engaging them throughout the day. All the students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
Ms. Nishitha Elsy Fernandes, Asst. Professor was the master of ceremony. Ms. Kavya, IV BPT invoked the blessings of the Almighty through a beautiful rendition of prayer. Dr. Saumya Srivastava, Assoc. Professor, NIPT and University Coordinator for IIC from NIPT delivered the vote of thanks at the valedictory function.
Certificates were distributed to the 255 participants at the end of the program.
