NCC Naval Wing organizes Boat-Pulling Session to Promote Environmental Awareness

The NCC Naval Wing organized a boat-pulling session on the river near Udyavara on 7th April 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and community engagement. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 17 cadets, who combined physical activity with a meaningful message on sustainability.

Water-based activities like boat-pulling not only build teamwork and endurance but also strengthen participants’ connection with the natural environment. As cadets navigated the river, they gained a deeper appreciation for the health of aquatic ecosystems and the importance of conserving them.

Through this initiative, the NCC Naval Wing aimed to highlight the significance of responsible interaction with marine and freshwater resources. The session emphasized the role of individuals and communities in safeguarding these ecosystems, ensuring that rivers and oceans remain healthy and viable for future generations.

This program reflects NCC’s broader mission to nurture environmentally conscious and socially responsible citizens, fostering a spirit of stewardship towards our planet’s vital water bodies.
