The Alumni Relations Cell of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organised an inter-specialty case presentation at the Physiotherapy OPD of Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital on 29th April 2024. The event commenced with a cordial welcome extended to the external peer evaluator, Mr. Aravind S, Asst. Professor, Vikas College of Physiotherapy, Mangalore, along with internal evaluators Mr. Nityal and Mr. Eswar, Asst. Professors, NIPT.
Mr. Rakesh Krishna Kovela, Associate Professor, provided insights into the theme of NIPT-SISSA and shed light on past SISSA presentations. Postgraduates Ms. Vahini, Ms. Meegha and Ms. Deeksha, pursuing Orthopaedics and Neurophysiotherapy specialties in MPT, presented their cases . Each case was evaluated objectively by the assessors and the students were graded based on their performance. The desired result of fostering cross-consultation among students and enhancing their proficiency in assessment and case management was achieved.
Mr. Aravind provided valuable feedback and expressed interest in hosting similar events in the future.
