The Induction Program 2024 for newly admitted students of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte, was held from 26th June to 8th July 2024. It was planned for 12 days, with 3 sessions per day.
Sri. Prashanth Kumar K, former Principal of NRAM Polytechnic, formally inaugurated the induction program and briefed the students about the scope of diploma programs and the career opportunities in various engineering fields. Sri. Vishwanathan K, Principal, NRAMP, Nitte presided over the function.
During the induction program, students were introduced to the curriculum C20, supportive schemes and scholarships offered by the government & other organizations, rules & regulations of the institution and familiarization of the campus.
- Dr. Vishwanath, HoD, Humanities, NMAMIT delivered a talk on “Some general traits for professional students.”
- Sri. Ankith, Counselor, NMAMIT conducted a session on "Mental health & wellbeing.”
- Dr. Chethana Shashikanth, Dentist, Justice KS Hegde Dental Clinic, Nitte, presented a seminar on “Personal Hygiene and Oral Health Care in Young Adults”.
- Dr. IR Mithanthaya, Vice-Principal, NMAMIT, enlightened the students on the topic “Blueprint for Success.”
- Sri. Mudradi from NSAM PU College engaged the students on the topic “Know Thyself.”
- Sri. Mohan Prabhu, former HoD, EEE delivered a talk on the topic “Personality Development”.
- Faculty members of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte - Ms. Sindhu KV, Sri. Raghavendra Bhat, Ms. I Dhanalakshmi Pai, Sri. Venkatramana Prasad, Sri. Subrahmanya B, Sri Harish PK, and Sri. Arun Shetty also addressed the students on various topics. The valedictory ceremony of the 12-day Induction Program 2024 was held on 8th July 2024. Chief guest Sri. Yogeeh Hegde, Director (Campus Maintenance & Development), NET Campus addressed the students on various opportunities available for diploma holders. The Induction program was coordinated by Sri Raghavendra Bhat, Lecturer, Science Department.
