Students of JKSHIM attended a session on Post Budget Analysis 2024-25 hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Avatar Hotel, Mangaluru on 29th July 2024. Industry experts from PWC, one of India’s Big Four accounting firms, including Gaurav Sharma, Punith Kumar S, Ankush Surana and Rahul Sharma, were the key speakers.
The session delved into the implications of the Union Budget, focusing on fiscal deficit, short-term capital gains taxation and long-term capital gains tax rates. Our students - Goutham Kini, Pramith Raj, Dnyaneshwar and Sudesh Shetty participated in the session and gained valuable insights into the budget's impact on various sectors and industries.
