The Alumni Association of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized an Alumni Reunion on 15th November 2024 at the University Auditorium, Paneer Campus. The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome note by Dr. Neetha Kamath, Joint Secretary, Alumni Association. Dr. Suchithra, Secretary presented a brief report of the Association.
The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice President (ISR & CRL), Nitte (DU) praised the dedication of the faculty members and their significant role in the development of the college, thereby contributing to the growth of Nitte University. Prof. (Dr) Fatima Dsilva, Presiding Officer, emphasized the importance of alumni in driving institutional progress and encouraged them to share their ideas and actively engage in future events.
Four outstanding alumni were felicitated for their contributions. Dr. Latha S was recognized for successfully completing her doctoral studies; Ms. Chirashree was commended for her exceptional selfless voluntary service and Ms. Suviksha Bhandary & Ms. Deepthi Poonja were acknowledged for contributing to co-curricular activities.
The program concluded with a cultural performance by alumni members. Ms. Chirashree was the master of ceremony and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Cleeta Pinto.
