News from NSAMEMHS | Nitte Athletes achievement in Udupi Marathon

Athletes from Nitte institutions bagged the Overall Championship Trophy in the prestigious Udupi Marathon, organized by the Udupi Runners Club on 1st December 2024, near Malpe Sea Walk, Udupi. Nitte athletes won 4 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 1 bronze medal and a total cash prize of Rs.43,500/-. Nitte Sports Club was also honored with the Best Sporting Team Award for having the highest number of participants (103 athletes) among 21 competing teams.

Individual performances by our athletes in the Udupi Marathon :

Under 14 Girls:
Ms. Deepika, Class VIII, Dr. NSAM High School won the Gold medal
Ms. Rashmitha, Class IX, Dr. NSAM High School won the Bronze medal
Ms. Kushi, Class VII, Dr. NSAM English Medium School secured 4th place
Ms. Manvi, Govt. Primary School secured 5th place

Under 14 Boys:
Mr. Varshith, Class VIII, Dr. NSAM English Medium School won the Gold medal
Mr. Bhuvan, Class VII of Dr.NSAM School won the Silver medal

Under 18 Girls:
Ms. Deekshitha, Class VIII, Dr. NSAM High School won the Gold medal
Ms. Sakshi, II PUC (Commerce), Dr. NSAM PU College won the Silver medal

Under 18 Boys:
Mr. Sakshath, I PUC (Commerce), Dr. NSAM PU College won the Gold medal
Mr. Rakshath, Class IX, Dr. NSAM English Medium School won the Silver medal

Open Events:
Ms. Nandini G., I B.Com won the Silver medal in the Half Marathon Ms. Pratheeksha, III B.Com, Dr. NSAM First Grade College won the silver medal in the 5 km race.
