News from NSAMPUC, Mangaluru | Visit to Jeevadana Ashram

The NSS unit and Alumni Association of Dr. NSAM PU College visited Jeevadana Ashram on 29th December 2024.

Addressing the gathering Sr. Bernadette, President, Jeevadana Ashram, Kinnikambla said, “Not everyone is created equal by God. Some may be physically or mentally challenged and require special love, care and support. With consistent encouragement, such children can live joyfully despite various health challenges. In this regard, the efforts of Nitte College are truly commendable.”

Ms. Sangeetha Shetty, Lecturer & in-charge of the Alumni Association, remarked “Everyone is occupied with their own struggles and losses. However, life’s true purpose is realized when we extend a helping hand to those in need and bring smiles on their faces. Nitte Institutions are always at the forefront of such community-oriented initiatives.”

The program featured games and entertainment activities for the children at the ashram. Free books were distributed, and afternoon meal served to the residents of the ashram.
