News from ABSMIDS | 75th Indian Dental Conference

The 75th Indian Dental Conference, held in Chennai from 7th to 9th February 2025, was an enriching experience for our delegation of 29 undergraduates and two faculty members. The event featured insightful lectures, an industry expo showcasing cutting-edge dental instruments and numerous academic & cultural competitions.

The undergraduates presented 6 posters & 2 papers and the faculty presented posters. Notable achievements included a 1st prize in the Table Clinic, 2nd prize in Paper Presentation and 3rd prize in the Ms. Perfect Smile competition. Both faculty members secured 1st and 2nd prizes in the Poster Presentation category. The students also engaged in various cultural events.
