As part of NIA’s commitment to hands-on creative learning, a Kite Workshop was organized on 17th January 2025 featuring two world-renowned experts in kite design and aerodynamics:
- Konstantin Ratsos (Greece), World Kite Challenge Champion 2023
- Bob Cruikshanks (UK), Former Avionics Engineer & Master Kite Designer
Students explored the fusion of engineering and artistry in kite-making through engaging demonstrations and discussions. The experts shared their techniques and scientific insights, making the session both inspiring and dynamic. NIA was honored to host these global icons, reinforcing its mission to integrate interdisciplinary learning and spark innovation among students.
