News from NIA | NIA Summer School 2025

The 2025 edition of NIA Summer School is currently in full swing, bringing together a vibrant mix of students, practitioners and urban enthusiasts under the theme Urban Tapestries: Weaving Art into Public Spaces. This year’s program explores the transformative role of art in shaping public spaces and urban narratives.

Participants are engaging in hands-on workshops and site-specific interventions, collaborating closely with local communities, designers and two acclaimed artists - Obayya and Mehika. Their distinctive practices are enriching the experience, adding new layers to the understanding of art in the public realm.

As the city becomes the canvas, the program continues to offer a platform for cross-disciplinary learning, creative exploration and meaningful dialogue about the built environment.
