News from MRSMEMHS | Food for All - A Charity Drive

ood for All - A Charity Drive was conducted by the school's Health & Wellness Club on 23rd & 24th June 2025 to inculcate values like sharing, caring and empathy. Students contributed food items like rice, pulses, potatoes and onions to be given to the nearby geriatric care centre, Chiranthana at Surathkal. Nearly 5 quintals of rice, 2 sacs of pulses, a sac of potatoes, onions and 20 litres of cooking oil, 2 flasks and 50 pillow covers were donated. Mr. Bharavi Deraje, Manager & Caretaker of the Centre expressed his happiness over the kind gesture and shared the challenges faced in caring for the elderly. Student representatives interacted with the inmates and entertained them with songs.
