Ms. Sushma J Karkada, staff welcomed the gathering. Ms. Shreelatha Rao, Principal urged students to plant trees and take care of them throughout their life. Mr. Pushparaj Chowta, PTA President advised the students to respect and value the gifts we have received from mother nature. Chief guest, Mr. Bhuvan Kumar, Wildlife Conservationist & Environmentalist, spoke on Climate Change & its effects. He helped students understand how human beings are a threat to the environment and how as students, they could contribute to a cleaner & greener earth. The program was followed by planting of saplings in the school yard by the guests and the student representatives.
