The NSS unit of Nitte Institute of Professional Education (NIPE), in collaboration with the Energy, Environment Conservation & Go Green Cell and Lions Shakthi Mangaluru, celebrated Vanamahotsava Day on 8th July 2025. The event featured Chief Guest Lion Vrinda N Prabhu, President, Lions Shakthi Mangalore and Ms. Chandravathi Vishwanath, former Corporator of Kannur Ward. Their speeches highlighted the critical need for plantation initiatives
The program was presided over by Dr. Jnaneshwar Pai Maroor, Principal, NIPE and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Riyaz. A tree plantation drive followed, during which 30 saplings were planted on campus, with the support of Lions Shakthi members, NSS volunteers and staff members of NIPE.
