The spirit of endurance and unity echoed through the hills and roads, as our school proudly hosted the AICS Cross Country Race – Stride with Pride on 21st August 2025. The event saw an enthusiastic participation of 171 students from 27 schools, making it a memorable celebration of athleticism and camaraderie.
The 6-kilometre course challenged runners with a scenic yet demanding route that spanned Bhattakodi, Nadugodu, Balavina Gudde, Suragiri, Pakshikere and Hosakadu, culminating at the school grounds. The race was divided into four competitive categories:
Under 17 Boys | Under 17 Girls | Under 14 Boys | Under 14 Girls
To ensure a smooth and secure experience for all participants, marshals were stationed along the route, guiding runners and cheering them on. The event was further supported by ambulance services, physiotherapists from Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy and local police personnel to manage traffic and ensure safety.
The race was judged by a distinguished panel comprising of Dr. Ganesh Poojary, Physical Education Director, NMAMIT, Nitte; Dr. Nithin, Physical Education Director, NSAMFGC, Nitte; Mr. Rajesh Acharya, Cricket Coach, NMAMIT, Nitte & Mr. Santhosh, Swimming Coach, NITK, Surathkal.
The event concluded with a vibrant valedictory ceremony, where winners were felicitated and all participants were applauded for their grit and sportsmanship.
