The 38th Student Council of Dr. Nitte Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial First Grade College, Nitte, was inaugurated by Prof. Harikrishna Bhat, Director, International Collaborations on 5th August 2025.

In his inaugural address, Prof. Harikrishna Bhat emphasized that students must be ambitious and have a strong hunger to achieve their goals - only then is success possible. He stated that the globally declining youth population is creating vast employment opportunities for Indian youth and students should take advantage of this to secure jobs abroad. He also introduced Japan’s entrepreneurial spirit and industrial mindset to the students.

Chief guest, Mr. Prashanth N Shetty, Director of Arth Media Group, stated that the power to empower India lies in the hands of its youth. Just as giant companies have shaped the United States, India too must progress in the same way - only then will the nation achieve true development.

Presiding over the program, Dr. Veena Kumari B.K, Principal said that students must follow their dreams and achieve success through continuous effort and hard work. She emphasized that the college supports the all-round development of students and urged them to make the most of it while growing with social responsibility and becoming role models in society.
