At JKSHIM, the Anti-Drug and Awareness Committee (ADAC) continues its mission to create a safe and responsible campus. On 18th September 2025, the institute hosted an awareness program on Anti-Ragging, Anti-Drug and Cyber Crimes. The event was graced by Mr. Hariram Shankar, IPS (Superintendent of Police, Udupi), who delivered an inspiring keynote highlighting challenges of body shaming, cyber abuse, AI misuse and the growing menace of drug peddling. He urged students to dream big like Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and contribute positively to society.
A significant milestone was the launch of a QR code for anonymous reporting, marking a proactive step in community policing. The session also witnessed vibrant student interactions, insightful discussions on social issues and a strong call for collective responsibility.
