Students of Classes VIII, IX and X participated in an Awareness Program on Rabies, conducted in the school premises on 11th September 2025. The session aimed to educate young minds about the dangers of rabies and the importance of timely preventive measures.
Dr. Greeshma Rao, a veterinary doctor from Mulki Veterinary Hospital, delivered an engaging and informative talk on the causes, symptoms and prevention of rabies. Her presentation emphasized the significance of responsible pet care, timely vaccinations and immediate action in case of animal bites. Supporting the session with dedication and expertise were her staff members - Ms. Mamatha, Ms. Ashwini and Mr. Chandrakanth from Mulki and Haleangadi Veterinary Hospitals.
The program served as a valuable platform to raise awareness and empower students with knowledge that could help safeguard their health and that of their communities.
