On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2025, Taaleem Club and COPE-Mpower of Abhyuday - The Department of Counselling, Welfare, Training & Placement, NMAMIT came together to present a powerful street play in the campus.
Focused on the theme of Suicide Prevention, the play highlighted critical issues such as suicide due to poor academic results, exam stress and the emotional impact of personal content being misused. Through relatable characters and hard-hitting performances, it shed light on the hidden struggles that students and individuals often face, while stressing the importance of empathy, open conversations and timely support.
The performance left a lasting impression on both students and faculty, reminding everyone that even small acts of care and understanding can go a long way in saving lives. This collaboration not only spread awareness but also encouraged the community to work together towards building a more compassionate and supportive environment.
