The Annual White Coat Day celebration, along with a lecture by Dr. Tripthi P S, Reader, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery on the “Significance of the White Coat," was held on 12th September 2025 at Avishkar Auditorium, ABSMIDS.
The Chief Guest for the event was Prof. (Dr.) Jayaprakash Shetty, Dean, Nitte Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
Dr. Tripthi P S focussed on the symbolism, responsibility and professional values associated with wearing the white coat. The lecture session was mainly organized for the III BDS and I MDS students.
The event highlighted the importance of professionalism, empathy and ethical responsibilities in the medical and dental professions, as embodied by the white coat.
