The NSS Unit of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte organized a seven-day Annual Special Camp from 26th December 2025 to 1st January 2026, at Govt. Higher Primary School, Kadthala, Karkala. With the theme, "My India for Youth, Digital Literacy for Youth," the camp aimed at fostering social responsibility, leadership and digital awareness among youth.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sri. Sukesh Hegde, President, Grama Panchayat, Kadthala, who emphasized the importance of selfless service. Sri. Vishwanathan K, Principal, NRAMP encouraged volunteers to participate in nation-building activities.
The camp featured sessions by resource persons - Sri. Guruprasad Hoogar, Sri. Sanjeeva Devadiga and Sri. Raghavendra Bhat N, on topics like leadership, personality development and spirituality. Volunteers participated in Shramadana activities, cleanliness drives, and cultural events, promoting unity and cultural values.
Fifty NSS volunteers actively participated, demonstrating dedication and enthusiasm. The camp was successfully coordinated by NSS coordinators and student leaders, Ms. Ankitha and Mr. Ibrahim Shifan.
