News from NIA | Student achievement

We are delighted to share that our Semester 8 students, Anjali Ganesh and Clevin Sequeira, successfully presented their final jury at the Saint-Gobain sponsored 'Ethos Transparence 20.0' competition, held in Chennai on 12th February 2026. The Interior Design Category of Transparence 20.0 challenges participants to pioneer spatial evolution and reimagine cultural spaces as community landmarks. We are proud to announce that our students secured the Second Place in this highly competitive category.

A total of six national teams were shortlisted, making it a strong and dynamic platform for design excellence. Anjali and Clevin presented their Jeppu Adaptive Reuse Studio project, impressing the jury with their thoughtful approach and design clarity. The team has been awarded a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, along with a trophy and certificate.

We congratulate Anjali and Clevin for this commendable achievement and for representing the institute with distinction. The dedicated guidance & mentorship provided by Ar. Nikita Makhasana through the Urban Studio course, played a significant role in achieving this success.
