The training sessions were conducted by an experienced team of resource persons, including Dr. Sujatha R, Dr. Sharlet Simple Dsouza and Mrs. Jeevitha Alva. The program commenced with a pre-test to assess participants'baseline knowledge. The sessions covered a wide range of essential first aid and emergency management topics, including management of fractures & bandaging techniques, first aid for seizures & bites, choking, drowning, electric shock, haemorrhage control and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The training was highly interactive, with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice. Participants actively engaged in demonstrations and return demonstrations, which helped them acquire the practical skills and confidence necessary to respond effectively to emergency situations in the school setting.
