A value-added course titled "Skill-Based Workshops & Career Readiness Training (CRT)" was organized at NGSMIPS in collaboration with ClinoSol Research Pvt. Ltd., a premier life sciences training and consulting organization specializing in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Data Management (CDM), Regulatory Affairs and Clinical SAS on 25th March 2026.
The workshop covered the fundamentals of pharmacovigilance Safety Operations & Signal Management. The inaugural session focused on the ICSR (Individual Case Safety Report) Case Processing Workflow, guiding participants through a step-by-step walkthrough of case intake, triage and data entry. This was followed by a hands-on simulation session on Argus Follow-ups & Duplicate Detection, where students practiced managing follow-up information and identifying redundant case entries in industry-used databases.
The afternoon session addressed Signal Evaluation & Trend Review, equipping participants with methodologies for identifying safety signals and analyzing adverse event trends. The day concluded with a Q&A led by Prof. C S Mujeebuddin. The post lunch session covered an interactive Resume Writing & LinkedIn Optimization Workshop, providing personalized guidance on building industry-specific resumes and enhancing professional branding for pharmaceutical careers. ClinoSol leadership, offered students placement referrals.
