The NSS Unit of Dr. NSAM PU College, Nanthoor, observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2026, highlighting its dedication to environmental preservation and conservation.
The program was presided over by the Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K., who delivered a keynote address on the theme "A Balanced Environment is Everyone's Responsibility." He emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and highlighted the need to combat air, water, and soil pollution through collective efforts. He urged everyone to take responsibility for protecting nature and preserving environmental balance.
Following the formal event, NSS volunteers and faculty cleaned the campus and planted saplings to support a greener environment.
