The annual General Body Meeting of the PTA at MRSM High School, Thokur

The annual General Body Meeting of the PTA was held on 31st May 2014. Ms. Mayuri B Upadhyaya and Miss Vijitha of class X were honoured by the PTA for securing CGPA 10 in the examinations conducted by the CBSE. Chief Guest of the day Dr. Sonda Bhaskar Bhat addressed the parents on their role in their wards’ education. He said that an educational institution is like a chariot. Parents, Teachers, Students and the Management are its four wheels that makes it easier to pull the chariot smoothly. He stressed that schools are there to provide education but values must be inculcated by parents from the formative stage of the child. Principal of the school briefed the parents about the activities of the school and urged them to spend quality time with their wards. PTA President Dr. Krishna welcomed all gathered. Secretary Mrs. Asha Ramesh proposed the vote of thanks and Treasurer Mr. Yadav Devadiga was the MC.
