On account of the world breast feeding week from august 1st to august 7th, a program was conducted at Hejamadykodi Rural Health center on 19 august 2014. The health talk was conducted for the women in the rural area of hejamadikodi under the department of Community Medicine. It was mainly on breast feeding, exclusive breast feeding problems, myths etc. videos and power point presentation was done as a part .COL.DR.K.G.Kiran was the moderator. The health talk was conducted by Dr.Manisha the intern under the guidance of Dr.Grace, PG, and Mr.Santhosh N P, Medico social worker, Dept Of community Medicine KSHEMA. About 30 women were present in the session. Snacks were provided for the participants.
