The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Anganawadi childrens health check up" on 04-09-2014 at Yuvaka mandala Sasihitlu for the anganwadi children aged between 2 and 5 years.
The children were examined for dental hygiene, personal hygiene, immunisation status etc.
5 out of the 12 children had caries, and the nutritional status of all the 12 was found to be poor.
Anganwadi worker was asked to inform the parents and get a dental check for the children.
