Child protection week
From 4th December to 6th December 2014 Child Safety week was observed with following events:
On 4th December, Prof. Udayananda of SDM Law College, Mangalore and Advocate Ashok Ariga past President of Mangalore Bar Association spoke on Pocso Act and answered the queries of students.

5th
December, students and teachers went a rally to Padmannur. PTA office
bearers, NGOs like Rotary, Lions, Inner
wheel
and President and members of Padupanambur, Kemral and
Kinnigoli,Gramapanchayat, Representatives of the press, Zilla
panchayath members Sri Eshwar Kateel, and Asha Suvarna joined the
rally too.
Essay
and drawing competitions were organized on this occasion and the
Inner
wheel
club Kinnigoli sponsored the prizes.
On
6th
Dec. Mulki Police Station Circle Inspector, Mr. Ramachandra Nayak
addressed the children on issues concerning child safety and answered
their questions. Mrs.Veena B Shetty, president of Kinigoli
Inner-wheel club distributed the prizes.
